I have to wonder how come the Brits were able to move in less than 5 days from a call to action to action, how they arrived at a simpler solution than ours (theirs calls for guarantees of bank loans to each other and infusion of capital), a preservation of the structure of the system and all of this without putting the lead private bankers in charge of the system.

Perhaps we, the colonies, still have something to learn from mother England.
